Kant-On Newspaper
Editorial, Editor
Unbeknownst to most Berliners, Kantstraße's status as Berlin's Little Chinatown dates back more than a hundred years. The self-published newspaper tells the story of the first Chinese students settling in the area, the famous celebrity hot-spot Asian restaurants of the 1960s, and the diverse restaurant culture it features today. Designed in collaboration with Lea Flemming, with texts by journalist and sinologist Dagmar Yu-Dembski, the daughter of the founder of one of Charlottenburg's first Chinese restaurants after the Second World War.
